What is RouteFlow SMS?

RouteFlow SMS is a team SMS inbox and automation layer for field service and home service businesses (roughly 3–30 people) that want modern texting with a shared inbox, after-hours replies, reminders, and compliance-aware workflows, without replacing their existing CRM, FSM, or dispatch software.

We focus on operational job texting (missed calls, ETAs, appointments, follow-ups), plus API-friendly integration when you want to connect your stack.

What are the system requirements?

RouteFlow SMS works on multiple platforms:

  • Web: Any modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
  • Desktop App: Windows 10+, macOS 10.14+, or Linux
  • Mobile: iOS 13+ or Android 8.0+

An active internet connection is required to send and receive messages.

Is my data secure?

Yes! We take security very seriously. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256 encryption. We follow industry best practices and comply with relevant data protection regulations.

We never sell your data to third parties, and you maintain complete ownership of your messages and contacts.

Field service & CRM

Do I have to replace my CRM or field service software?

No. RouteFlow SMS is built to sit alongside the CRM, FSM, or dispatch tools you already use. You keep job records, scheduling, and pricebooks where they are; RouteFlow handles customer-facing SMS, team inboxing, and messaging automation.

When you’re ready, our API can help connect events or data between systems, but a full migration is not a prerequisite.

What about 10DLC and business texting compliance?

Carriers require proper 10DLC registration and appropriate consent and opt-in for business texting. We guide you through registration and help you align messaging workflows with common carrier expectations.

Exact steps depend on your numbers, use cases, and throughput; we’ll walk through it during onboarding.

Account Setup

How do I create an account?

To create an account, contact our team at hello@xproductlabs.com. We'll work with you to:

  • Understand your business needs
  • Choose the right plan
  • Set up your phone number
  • Configure your account settings
  • Train your team on the platform
How do I reset my password?

To reset your password:

  1. Go to the login page
  2. Click "Forgot Password?"
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Check your email for a password reset link
  5. Click the link and create a new password

If you don't receive the email within 5 minutes, check your spam folder or contact support.

Agent Setup

How do I add a new agent/team member?

To add a new agent to your account:

  1. Go to Settings → Team Management
  2. Click "Add New Agent"
  3. Enter their name, email, and role
  4. Set their permissions
  5. Click "Send Invitation"

The new agent will receive an email invitation to join your RouteFlow SMS account.

Desktop App

Where can I download the desktop app?

You can download the RouteFlow SMS desktop app from your account dashboard or by contacting hello@xproductlabs.com.

We offer versions for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Billing

How does billing work?

RouteFlow SMS uses a flexible billing model based on your usage and plan tier. Billing includes:

  • Monthly platform fee (based on your plan)
  • Per-message charges for SMS and RCS
  • Phone number rental fees

You're billed monthly, and you can view detailed usage reports in your account dashboard.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), debit cards, and ACH bank transfers (for annual plans). All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
